Inflammation and Sexual Desire

There is still very little research about what causes low sexual desire in women. The University of Nebraska’s prior research suggests that most studies may overlook the role of inflammation. With support from the Patty Brisben Foundation in 2019, this study examined 100 women at different life stages to assess the role of inflammation in a woman’s sexual desire and arousal.
