New Podcast: Pelvic Pain
Today we welcome Dr. Christine Vaccaro to help us understand more about pelvic pain and to answer your questions on what we can do to help women dealing with chronic pain. Pain is complicated. In an ideal world, it could be seen as our body’s helpful warning system – signaling us to take action and seek treatment if we’re injured or ill. Unfortunately, however, some people experience intense chronic pain without having any underlying medical condition; making this type of suffering all the more difficult to understand and manage effectively. Understanding and treating any type of chronic pain typically takes time, patience, and expert support. When pain occurs in the pelvis, an area of the body that’s physically and emotionally complex, that’s even more true.
